As Domain Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our General Insurance technology landscape. Sitting at the intersection of business strategy and technology, this role exists to ensure our digital architecture enables smarter, faster and more secure outcomes for our customers and our people.

You’ll influence how we modernise core insurance capabilities such as pricing, underwriting and claims, while setting a clear architectural direction that supports scale, resilience and innovation. Your work will directly support Zurich’s ambition to strengthen foundations today and build for the future as Australia’s leading digital insurer.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Define and lead domain architecture strategies aligned to General Insurance business outcomes
• Own and communicate the technology uplift and modernisation vision across the domain
• Create and maintain clear architectural roadmaps that guide delivery teams
• Partner with business and technology leaders to translate strategy into practical solutions
• Ensure architectural consistency, scalability and security across digital initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship that lifts capability and drives innovation

You’re a strategic thinker who balances big-picture vision with practical delivery. You collaborate naturally, communicate with clarity, and build trust with senior stakeholders while staying curious, adaptable and outcomes focused in a fast‑moving environment.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

• Experience in domain or solution architecture within complex enterprise environments
• A strong background delivering large-scale digital or technology transformation initiatives
• Deep understanding of modern architecture patterns including cloud, APIs and microservices
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
• Experience working across end-to-end technology stacks and delivery models
• A track record of setting architectural direction and guiding teams through change
